Daniela Lalita

Daniela Lalita draws inspiration from her family and heritage to create a multidisciplinary practice that ranges from music to fashion and performance art. Raised in Lima, Peru, by her mother and grandmother, Lalita's art was shaped by her upbringing and studies in Apparel Design and at NYU Steinhardt's Music Technology graduate program. Praised by the likes of Pitchfork, DAZED, i-D, Office Magazine, and others, Lalita's music represents her life's journey, with her avant-garde style and ancestral influences earning her recognition as an evocative and preternaturally talented artist.
