Cortex of Light

Cortex of Light is an attempt to trace new configurations of the audible spectrum in order to alter the usual relations between body, mind and sound. Born as collaboration between Aitch, Piezo and primordial OOze for Saturnalia festival, the project slowly unfolded in rare but remarkable apparitions in the form of extended kaleidoscopic sessions where the sonic space becomes a vaporous cloud, deep and subtle. In time, out of time. Slow waves and hypnotizing rhythms flow without constraints and dissolve the self into infinite particles of astral matter.
Operating in the shadow but always ready to come into light, in the last two years they released tracks, remixes and original mixes on Communion, Artetetra, Comic Sans, Eska, NTS Radio, Kiosk, Radio Raheem.
